Sweater Savers!

I'm sure you all have sweaters in your closet that you're not wearing due to excessive pilling, I know I do. Even the finest cashmere tends to pill under the arms, so do your sweaters a favor and pick up a Sweater Saver by Hollywood Fashion Tape. For $6, you can make your old favorites look new again.

Makes a GREAT stocking stuffer!

Dress Like The Celebs!

This season, denim leggings are all the rage. Super stretchy, they are comfortable, perfect for tucking into boots, and great for wearing with long tees or sweaters. Take a look at how Kate Bosworth casually layered simple tops with hers, and how Whitney Port added some glamor with her gold sequin button down shirt.

We have styles by both J Brand and Citizens of Humanity, so come into the shop and ask the MJ girls to help you find the perfect pair!

New Gourmet Gumballs!

After about a half hour's deliberation, weighing the pro's and con's of sour vs. sweet, XL vs. L, Assorted vs. One Flavor, I have chosen our newest gumballs for the machine in Brookline! For those of you who are not familiar with our beloved gumball machine, the old girl was a birthday gift for our B Garber. While it took some convincing to get her to leave it at the store and not install it next to her bed in her own home for easy access, she has not only left us with a happy-maker in the form of endless gumballs, but we get to donate all the quarters she collects to charity! As you all know, Juleps are known for having a sweet tooth so, let's be honest, there are some serious funds being routed into the Brookline Food Pantry each year based on in-house "contributions" alone.
So, if you have a hankering for a "Georgia Peach" or "Razzle Dazzle Berry" gumball, or, if you're just feeling philanthropic, come on by!!!!!

Thanks for coming!

Yummy food from Om! Thank you so much for feeding our hungry shoppers!
Happy shoppers!
Rachel couldn't contain her excitement!

Thanks so much for coming! We had a great time. XOXO

Cozy Tights for Chilly Weather!

When it comes to cool weather, I'm addicted to a good pair of tights. As soon as the temperatures drop, I break out the legwear and am never without it until Spring.

Luckily, we just received a new order from Spanx! Sara Blakely's famous shapewear is also available in tight-form, which couldn't be more convenient or comfortable.

Try the Reversible Tight-End Tights for a two in one bargain - available at the Juleps in Black/Bittersweet and Black/Charcoal.

If you're looking for a bit more pattern, try the Patterned Tight-End Tights in Trinket and Corset, pictured above.

No matter what your fall plans entail, Spanx and the Julep have got you (and your legs) covered!

Happy Belated Halloween!

We hope all the goblins, ghosts, and witches had a great night! All of the Mint Julep girls ate way too much candy, but that didn't stop us from dressing up and taking in all the festivities from the Beacon Hill Stroll to NYC's Greenwich Village Parade. A scary good time!

With a Cherry on Top!

Halloween is over (TEARS!), but you can still dress up your everyday outfits with a fun Free People headpiece. Sparkly bows and florettes add pizzaz and just the right amount of retro glam to a little black dress or jeans and a tank top. Dressing up is so much fun!
